Have you ever wonder what Caracol Maya Site, might be like? Let us share it with you! Caracol is just south of San Ignacio Town. Located in the impeccable verdant jungles of Belize. The drive is very scenic, with small rural communities, farm lands, pine forest, Hilly terrains and a sub-tropical broad leaf forest.It boast the largest Maya man made structure, “Canna”rising 43 meters above the B Group Plaza. Meaning ‘Sky Palace’. At Caracol there are clean bathroom facilities and picnic area. Tour is approximately 3hrs on site, after the tour we hike back down to the parking area to enjoy delicious homemade pack lunch. We then drive back with stops at Rio on Pools.Drive time to Caracol Maya Site ,2 1/2 hrs, which includes stops at Rio Frio Cave, just before we head to Caracol.

The tour of Caracol is an all day tour, departing San Ignacio at 7:00 am and returns back to Town at 5:00 pm.
Level of Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
What to wear:Comfortable clothing for hiking. Proper foot wear is recommended.
What to bring:Extra clothes, bug repellent, sunscreen, swimwear and cameras
