Lamanai  located on the western shore of the New River Lagoon,near the village of Indian Church in the Orange Walk District. It has the longest known Maya history of occupation in the area and first settled around 900 BC. Long before the arrival of the Spaniards.

Mask TempleArchaeological work was first conducted in the early 1900.At lamanai take a tour and visit the Mask Temple.It is unique to the Maya Area because its the way, it has been constructed from blocks of limestone rather than from plaster over a stone core.

Boat Tour lamanaiLamanai is an all-day tour,departs San Ignacio Town as early as 6:30 AM and returns back around 5:00 PM. Its a 3 hr drive to the Toll Bridge in Orange walk.It includes an hr boat tour on the New River Lagoon.On site there is a visitor’s center, restrooms and a few gift shops. We spend 2 hr on site, after tour you will be serve with a delicious home made pack lunch, drinks and fresh fruits.

What to wear: Comfortable clothing and Proper foot wear is recommended for hiking around site.

What to bring: Bug repellent, sunscreen, cameras and/or hats/sunglasses.
