Come and experience a combo pack created just for you! Climb the ancient temples of Cahal Pech ending the day with an adventurous Mopan River Kayaking.
Our Tour Departs at 8 am from San Ignacio Town, spending approximately 1 ½ at Cahal Pech Archaeological Site. The name meaning “place of ticks” is over-looking the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena. Cahal Pech consists of 34 structures compacted in a small area, slightly more than 2 acres. The tallest temple is Structure A1 which stands 77 ft high. The site also contains two ball courts, one carved stela, and one altar.
After a tour of Cahal Pech, we then have lunch at a local Belizean Restaurant where we can enjoy Local Belizean Cuisine. We then head off to start our afternoon Kayaking tour. Before heading into the water, our Naturalist guide will provide you with a brief introduction regarding the tour, Basic water safety, uses of equipment, and Kayaks. Enjoy seeing large Iguanas, different species of Birds, Butterflies, Exotic Hardwood Trees, and many more along the way. Come join us as we glide down the Macal River!
