Cahal Pech Maya Site

Cahal Pech was first settled between 1200-1000BC and abandoned around 800-900AD.  The site consists of 34 structures compacted in a small area, slightly more than 2 acres, with the tallest temple, Structure A1 which stands 77 ft high. The site also contains two ball courts, eight plain and one carved stela, and one altar.
